Loan watch: Super Sammie Szmodics

Here's the latest roundup of City players out in action across the football pyramid.

Sammie Szmodics made the EFL Team of the Week yet again after he got three assists for Peterborough as they beat Matty Taylor’s Oxford United 4-0 in League One.

It was a bittersweet Saturday for Taylor Moore who played 90 minutes in Blackpool’s 2-1 win over his former loan club Southend United. It was also another good afternoon for Liam Walsh as Coventry continued their good form beating Bolton Wanderers 2-1.

Winger Jonny Smith took his tally to 10 goals for the season but his hard work was in vain as Oldham lost 2-1 to Crewe Alexandra. Cam Pring and Rory Holden both started for Walsall in a 2-1 away win at Forest Green Rovers.

In non-league action, Louis Britton and Sam Pearson both played for Bath City in a 3-0 loss against St Albans whilst Marcus Day scored twice in a 6-0 win for Paulton Rovers over Barnstaple.
