Loan Watch: Smith heads out to Weston

Harvey Smith has joined Weston-super-Mare on a two-month loan deal.

The centre-back, 18, has captained the club’s Under-23s this season and will replace Aden Baldwin at Woodspring Stadium, after his two-month spell ended.

Jake Andrews also returns to Ashton Gate following the conclusion of his loan stay at Chippenham Town.

Meanwhile, Joe Morrell scored in Cheltenham Town’s 3-o victory over Mansfield Town in midweek, as well as being named Man of the Match. Taylor Moore completed 90 minutes in the same game, while Freddie Hinds was a late substitute.

Scott Golbourne earned another clean sheet in MK Dons’ goalless draw with Northampton Town on Tuesday, but there was more misery for Diego De Girolamo at Chesterfield, who were beaten 3-2 at home by Yeovil Town.

Finally, Merthyr Town loanee Cameron Pring enjoyed a 2-1 win over Tiverton Town.
