Jonny Smith scored his third goal in as many games as AFC Fylde kept up their play-off charge.
The Lancashire club have won three on the bounce after beating Sutton United 2-1 on Saturday and are just a point outside the top five in the National League.
Another player enjoying a play-off push is Zak Vyner, whose Plymouth Argyle side won their ninth match in 11, thanks to a stoppage-time penalty against Peterborough United. Graham Carey kept his cool from 12 yards to complete a 2-1 victory at Home Park.
After fighting back from injury, Scott Golbourne has now featured twice for MK Dons in quick succession. However, the City defender was substituted in the 64th minute as Wigan Athletic ran out comfortable 5-1 winners.
Taylor Moore and Joe Morrell both featured for Cheltenham Town in their comprehensive 3-0 win over Morecambe but there was disappointment for Connor Lemonheigh-Evans’ Torquay United, who were beaten 1-0 at Dover.
There was a 3-1 defeat at Dartford for Weston-super-Mare pair Ash Harper and Aaron Parsons.
Max O’Leary kept another clean for Solihull Moors as they won 1-0 at Hartlepool United, while Bath City handed starts to their City trio - Opi Edwards, James Morton and Antoine Semenyo – as they slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Wealdstone.
Meanwhile, Cameron Pring continues to shine for Hereford FC, who have won six on the bounce and top the EvoStik South Premier Division Table. Chesham United were the latest scalps, beaten 3-0 on Saturday.
