Loan Watch: O'Leary shines for Solihull

Max O’Leary earned a clean sheet at Solihull Moors as they defeated Leyton Orient 1-0 on Saturday.

The City keeper earned rave reviews for his performance in the Vanarama National League match, which also saw him selected in the Non-League Paper team of the week.

Shawn McCoulsky was handed a start for Newport County in their 2-0 victory over Cambridge United in the Emirates FA Cup. The young striker played for 64 minutes.

There was also cup success for Scott Golbourne, with his loan club MK Dons thrashing non-league Maidstone 4-1.

Jonny Smith helped AFC Fylde earn a cup replay at Wigan Athletic following a 1-1 draw at Mill Farm on Friday night, in front of the BBC cameras.

Weston-super-Mare saw their five-game winning run ended by Hampton & Richmond, who were 2-1 victors at Woodspring Stadium. Both Harvey Smith and Ashley Harper were involved, fresh from extending their loan deals.

James Morton made his debut for Bath City in their goalless draw at home to Hemel Hempstead Town in a fixture saw the hosts miss a penalty.

Meanwhile, Cameron Allen completed 68 minutes for Mangotsfield United in their 1-0 defeat at Shortwood United, while young keeper Lochlan Robertson helped Cribbs beat Odd Down 4-2.
