Loan watch: Morrell turns provider

Here's the latest report on City's stars out on loan.

Joe Morrell provided two assists as Lincoln City overcame Ipswich Town 5-3 in League One at the weekend.

Elsewhere in the division, fellow central midfielder Liam Walsh also grabbed an assist as Coventry City beat Wycombe 4-1 away.

Matty Taylor was a late substitute in Oxford United’s 2-1 win away to AFC Wimbledon.

In the National League, Robbie Cundy featured as Torquay United beat Woking 4-1.

In the Scottish Premiership, Zak Vyner helped Aderdeen secure a point in a 1-1 draw with Hearts. Vyner came off at end of the first half.

Back in League One, Max O’Leary played in Shrewsbury Town’s 1-1 draw away to Bolton, while in the National League South, Louis Britton came off the bench in Bath City’s 0-0 draw with Hampton and Richmond Borough.

But there were defeats for Jonny Smith as Oldham slipped to a 4-1 loss to Salford City and Rory Holden featured in Walsall’s 2-1 defeat to Carlisle.
