Loan Watch: McCoulsky's Exiles heading to Wembley

Shawn McCoulsky is heading to Wembley with Newport County in the Emirates FA Cup.

The young striker appeared as a late substitute as the Exiles ran Tottenham Hotspur close, ultimately drawing 1-1 at Rodney Parade. The replay will be held at the national stadium.

Zak Vyner (Plymouth Argyle) and Taylor Moore (Cheltenham Town) were unable to feature at the weekend due to injury and suspension respectively.

There was another outing for Joe Morrell at Whaddon Road as Cheltenham held Barnet to a 1-1 draw.

George Dowling’s Torquay United earned a 1-1 draw at Macclesfield Town, but there was disappointing for AFC Fylde and Jonny Smith, who were beaten 1-0 at Woking.

Solihull Moors are now five unbeaten in the league after Saturday’s 3-1 win at Dagenham & Redbridge. Max O’Leary started in goal, while Opi Edwards appeared as a late replacement.

James Morton helped Bath City record a 1-1 draw at Oxford City, while Cameron Pring won a penalty for Hereford FC in their comfortable 3-0 win over Banbury United.

Ashley Harper has extended his loan spell at Weston-super-Mare, where he has now been joined for a month by Aaron Parsons. The defender moves to Woodspring Park following news that Harvey Smith has returned to Ashton Gate with an injury.

Parsons made his debut in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Wealdstone.
