Shawn McCoulsky got back on the goalscoring trail for Newport County in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Carlisle United.
The striker bagged his ninth goal of the campaign to start the scoring at Rodney Parade in Sky Bet League Two.
In the same division Taylor Moore was named Man of the Match for Cheltenham Town as they overcame Crewe Alexandra 1-0. Joe Morrell also featured, with Freddie Hinds an unused substitute.
Scott Golbourne’s MK Dons were involved in a 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Town in League One.
There was defeat for Jonny Smith’s AFC Fylde away at Boreham Wood, where the City youngster was 63rd minute replacement.
Jojo Wolacott was denied a debut for Woking after their Vanarama National clash at Gateshead was postponed, while fellow keeper Max O’Leary’s Solihull Moors were beaten 1-0 at Chester FC.
Harvey Smith and Ashley Harper were both involved for Weston-super-Mare as they were beaten 3-1 at Poole Town.
There was a Man of the Match award for Opi Edwards as Bath City were held to a goalless draw by Bognor Regis.
