Left-back George Nurse also earned a clean sheet with a Man of the Match performance in Walsall’s 0-0 draw with Exeter City.

Louis Britton played 70 minutes of Torquay United’s 2-0 win against Dover Athletic and in Scotland, Marley Watkins played the full 90 minutes of Aberdeen’s goalless draw with Dundee United.

Kasey Palmer was introduced in the 62nd minute of Swansea City’s 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield Town, while strikers Tommy Conway and Freddie Hinds featured in Bath City’s 1-0 defeat to Dartford.
