Saikou Janneh scored in added time on Saturday as Newport County beat Salford City 3-0 to reach the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The young striker was introduced from the bench in the 53rd minute of the game, after Salford were reduced to ten men.
Newport were already two goals ahead when Janneh won possession deep inside the opposition’s half. He twisted and turned his way into the box before unleashing a fierce effort beyond Vaclav Hladky.
That would be Janneh’s second goal for the South Wales outfit.

Left-back Cameron Pring helped Portsmouth in their demolition job over King’s Lynn Town. Pring played the full 90 minutes, assisting Pompey’s opener inside the second minute. They went on to win 6-1 to reach the third round of the FA Cup.
And in the Vanarama National League South, defender Tom Harrison came off the bench to make his Chippenham Town debut. It ended in a 1-1 draw with Concord Rangers.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
