Loan Watch: Harper and Morton find the net

Ash Harper and James Morton both found the net for their loan clubs on Saturday.

Harper fired home in the 51st minute to hand Weston-super-Mare an impressive 1-0 win at Braintree. Harvey Smith also featured in the game.

Morton fired home the opening goal for Chippenham Town as Concord Rangers, but they still slipped to a 4-2 defeat.

Cameron Pring enjoyed a dream debut for Hereford FC, as the non-league side thrashed ten man Hitchin 5-0.

Scott Golbourne scored an unfortunate own goal in MK Dons’ 2-2 draw at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

The City left-back skewed the ball into his own net three minutes from end, but his blushes were spared in stoppage time by former Robin Kieran Agard’s equaliser.

Taylor Moore and Joe Morrell were both involved for Cheltenham Town in their 3-1 defeat at League Two leaders Notts County.

Jonny Smith played 75 minutes for AFC Fylde in their 2-0 home win over Torquay United.

Bath City produced a brilliant display to win 3-2 at Eastbourne, with Opi Edwards handed a starting role once more.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Sesay’s Paulton Rovers were beaten 3-0 by Kidlington and Cameron Pring’s Mangotsfield United suffered a 3-1 defeat at Wimborne Town.
