Loan watch: Dramatic draw for Jonny Smith

Jonny Smith played the full 90 minutes of Swindon Town’s 3-3 draw with Shrewsbury Town.

The winger struck close with the Sky Bet League One game’s first opening, before he somehow saw a close-range effort kept out by Shrewsbury goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne.

However, this was a game where Town battled back after falling 2-0 behind early on. The Robins were even 3-1 down in the second half but earned a point in dramatic fashion with a 93rd minute goal.

The result is the Wiltshire side's first draw of the season, as they linger just one point above the drop after three wins and six defeats.

Also in League One, Hakeeb Adelakun scored with a low drive from outside the area as Hull City saw off ten-men Burton Albion.

Elsewhere, Robbie Cundy came off the bench for the last few minutes of Cambridge United’s 1-1 draw at home to Barrow. The point keeps United 2nd in Sky Bet League Two.

A number of City’s loanees away from the club are in action this week after a weekend of no games.
