Tommy Conway was back on the scoresheet as Bath City secured three points in a seven-goal thriller in the Vanarama National League South.
The young forward scored in the 28th minute of Bath City’s 4-3 win away to Chelmsford City, putting the Romans 3-1 ahead.
It was a strong overlapping run from Conway who raced through on goal before firing low past the goalkeeper.
The Romans now sit 17th and level on points with Chelmsford and Slough Town.
Tom Harrison secured a clean sheet after playing the full 90 minutes of Chippenham Town’s 1-0 win over Welling United – the first match with fans back at Park View Road.
Owura Edwards came off the bench in the 53rd minute of Grimsby Town’s 1-1 draw with Mansfield.
However, there were defeats for Hakeeb Adelakun (Hull City) and Robbie Cundy (Cambridge United). Adelakun came off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Shrewsbury Town, while Cundy conceded twice in the 2-0 defeat to Forest Green Rovers.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
