Loan watch: Bell bags first Mariners goal

Here's how our loanees fared for their respective clubs in the latest round of fixtures.

Sam Bell netted his first goal for Grimsby Town FC in the Mariners’ 3-2 defeat at the hands of Dagenham and Redbridge, the forward was introduced in the 66th minute and off the mark a minute later. 

Bell chested the ball down on the edge of the area and rifled a half-volley into far corner of the net. Fellow City loanee Riley Towler also played 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon. 

Taylor Moore was a first-half substitute in Hearts’ 1-0 victory over Livingstone, while Louis Britton played 90 minutes on his debut for Woking FC in their 2-0 defeat to Solihull Moors.

Callum Wood played the full 90 minutes in Bath City’s 3-1 away win over Havant & Waterlooville, with Owura Edwards introduced as a late substitute in Exeter City’s 2-1 FA Cup Second Round loss to Cambridge United.  

Will Buse’s Taunton Town earned a point against the Walton Casuals after a 1-1 draw, while Prince Henry played 84 minutes in Weston Super Mare’s 2-1 victory over Hartley Whitney.
