Loan Watch: Bakinson's Exiles secure win

Tyreeq Bakinson featured in a 2-1 victory for Newport County at the weekend.

The South Wales side took the lead but Port Vale equalised before the Exiles winner in the second half.

Bakinson played the full 90 minutes, while Cameron Pring watched his new teammates from the bench.

Opi Edwards and Jake Andrews also starred in a 2-0 win for Torquay United over Hemel Hempstead.

Harvey Smith's Hereford drew 1-1 with York City but Zak Vyner played the full 90 in a 1-0 defeat for Rotherham at Wigan.

Elsewhere, there were 1-0 defeats for James Morton (Bath City) and George Nurse (Weston-super-Mare).

Shawn McCoulsky's Southend United also suffered defeat in a 2-1 loss and Jojo Wollacott and Tom Richards could do little to stop Truro City's 3-0 defeat at the hands of Wealdstone.
