'Let's follow up with an away win' - Eliasson

Niclas Eliasson is targeting all three points as City hit the road for the first time in the 2018/19 season this weekend.

The Robins face the trip to Bolton Wanderers tomorrow (Saturday, August 11th, 3pm kick-off)

The City winger is oozing confidence and continued his fine form from pre-season last weekend, as City held Nottingham Forest to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the Championship campaign.

His delivery from wide was a joy to watch and he assisted Andreas Weimann's debut goal after just five minutes.

"It was great, it was a good game against a good side," Eliasson told bcfc.co.uk.

"We did well in the first half where we created a lot of chances, scored a goal. The second half was tougher but a point on the opening day is a good result and hopefully we can follow that up with our first three points on Saturday.

"Forest were a good side, with high ambitions like we do. We have a good squad with new signings too so I hope we will be up there this season.

"But it will be a tough game [on Saturday]. It's our first match away from home but I believe with a good performance we will get the three points. That’s our aim!"
