🎥 Lansdown salutes supporters

City owner Steve Lansdown spoke to Robins TV about his hopes for the upcoming season, the progress of the homegrown players and the impressive support from the Robins fans.

With more than 13,000 Season Tickets already purchased - up on this time last season - Lansdown is looking forward to his 25th year of involvement with the club.

Lansdown said: "Thirteen thousand Season Tickets and counting is a great testimony to the support we have got in this city. We want to reward that support this year with some good performances, being competitive in the league and some enjoyable football.

"We want as many people to come along, season ticket holders, people coming to the games individually and supporting the team to see how far we can go."

City’s young fans will be out in force at Ashton Gate next season with more than 3,500 Under-19s and Under-12s Season Tickets already purchased.

BS3 will be buzzing with young Robins for the 2022/23 campaign with sales for both categories already greater than for the whole of last season.

Under-19s have taken advantage of frozen prices to make up a record high of 19 per cent of current sales, while more than 1,400 Under-12s will receive a free shirt with their Season Ticket which start for as little as £55 in the South Stand and Upper Lansdown Stand Family Area.

Lansdown added: "We put a lot of effort into attracting younger people to come to games, families to come along and I think we are seeing the rewards of that now. It shows we are moving in the right direction.

"But that's not to say we don't want our older supporters to come along and renew their season tickets. We want everyone to come along, we like to feel like we're one big family and we want to have family occasions on a regular basis at Ashton Gate supporting the team."
