New recruit Jonathan Kodjia is likely to make his Bristol City debut in the club’s final match of the pre-season tour against Sociedade Recreativa Almancilense tomorrow in Ferreiras (7.15pm).
The Frenchman, who signed for €3m from SCO Angers on Monday, trained with his new team-mates for the first time yesterday and is set to be involved in the third fixture of City’s two-week stay in the south of Portugal.
Frank Fielding could also feature tomorrow after rejoining the squad.
The goalkeeper flew home to receive treatment for a back injury but following an injection in his buttock, Steve Cotterill confirmed his number one is feeling fit again.
Meanwhile, midfielder Scott Wagstaff is unlikely to be risked after suffering a reoccurrence of a hamstring strain against SC Braga, while Mark Little (shoulder) and Kieran Agard (knee) remain sidelined.
Almancilense are City’s final opponents on tour and ply their trade in the third tier of Portuguese football.
The fixture will be played at Estadio da Nora – a familiar venue for the tourists.
City met SC Braga there on Tuesday evening, earning themselves a 1-1 draw against their Europa League opponents.
The same outcome occurred three days earlier as Aden Flint’s header ensured a share of the spoils with SC Farense in Faro.
