Bristol City Women can confirm that head coach Willie Kirk will leave the club with immediate effect.
Kirk, who has been in charge of the Vixens since April 2015, said: “This has been a very difficult decision to make, but I feel after three years at the club, it is time to seek a new challenge.
"I have loved working with all the staff and players throughout my time here and trying to play a brand of football that was worthy of the fantastic support that we always received."
Kirk oversaw an eighth-place finish in the WSL1 2017/18 season, after guiding the club back to the top-flight and reaching the quarter-finals of the Women's FA Cup in 2017.
The club would like to thank Willie for his hard work and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
