Youngsters Lloyd Kelly and Liam Walsh have been restored to the City starting XI to face Nottingham Forest.
For January signing Walsh, today's match will be his third start from six league appearance.
The pair's restoration to the starting XI means right-back Eros Pisano and winger Callum O'Dowda drop to the bench.
Josh Brownhill, who has played 49 times for the club in all competitions this season, is also rested among the substitutes, while former Forest man Jamie Paterson lines up against his old club.
Nottingham Forest v Bristol City kicks off at 3pm.
