Johnson shortlisted for December award

Lee Johnson has been nominated for December's Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month.

The City Head Coach guided the team through an unbeaten December as part of a current nine-game run without defeat.

The Robins picked up ten points, which included a first win away to Birmingham City since 1993 and holding then-league leaders Norwich City to a 2-2 draw.

The month concluded with a 1-0 win against Rotherham United, with City since continuing their good form in the new year.

Johnson's Sky Bet nomination reads: "Leading your side unbeaten through a six-game month is impressive enough. To do it when you face promotion-chasing Birmingham, Norwich and Derby in successive games shows the belief Johnson has instilled in his players."

The December Sky Bet Manager of the Month winner will be announced on Friday (January 12th).
