Lee Johnson says he is "already excited" for next season, after a year of progression at Bristol City.
City will take on Sheffield United at Ashton Gate next week, with the play-offs out of reach but a top-half finish guaranteed.
While he acknowledged disappointment with results since the turn of the year, City were in scintillating form in the first half of the season and stormed to the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
There they pushed Manchester City hard over two legs, following an historic victory over Manchester United.
On top of that, the awards have flooded in for the likes of Bobby Reid, who has enjoyed his best campaign, and the community-minded Joe Bryan.
After City's 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Johnson now wants to see his side end the season on a high in their final match against Sheffield United next Sunday.
The head coach told BCTV: "We want to put on a performance for our fans. We are disappointed from where we have been but there has been progression both on and off the pitch at this football club and that's what we want.
"We will continue and I am already excited about next year."
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
