Lee Johnson and Aden Flint have been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month awards for February.
Head coach Johnson, who won the Sky Bet League One accolade in January with Barnsley, will be up against Burnley boss Sean Dyche, Simon Grayson of Preston North End and Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton.
Barnsley, Johnson’s former club, were on a six-match winning streak before he was appointed at Ashton Gate and has carried his impressive managerial form into his City tenure.
City started the month with an away win at Charlton Athletic – the day Johnson was unveiled – before two goals from Flint helped City to three points over promotion-chasing Ipswich Town in Johnson’s first game in charge.
The nominated defender - who is up against Bartosz Bialkowski (Ipswich Town), Tom Cairney (Fulham) and Tomer Hemed (Brighton) - played in every minute of City’s five matches in February, where the team kept two clean sheets.
A notable 2-0 victory at MK Dons followed before Johnson’s side suffered their only defeat of the four weeks to Brighton.
The squad bounced back from defeat to win at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground with Flint proving the match-winner once more.
The winners will be announced tomorrow.
A blistering hat-trick from Siva Naulago fired the Bears to a ninth Gallagher Premiership win of the season at Sixways.
