Bristol City Robins Foundation are recruiting an energetic, responsible and organised individual for the role of Team Leader for their upcoming NCS programme taking place this October.
The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government funded programme which aims to bring 16-17 year olds together from different backgrounds, embarking on a journey that builds life skills for work and life whilst taking on new challenges and meeting new people. During the two week programme the young people get the opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor activities as well as making a difference in their local community.
The Robins Foundation are seeking to employ a number of enthusiastic, charismatic and dedicated individuals to deliver our successful NCS programme. All of our Community programmes are aimed at strengthening self-esteem, developing personal skills, promoting healthy behaviours and lifestyles, and in doing so improve academic achievement, enhance employability and increase the feeling of self-worth and wellbeing.
Team Leader
Team Leaders are responsible for the management of an NCS Team of 16 students with support from another Team Leader. Team Leader’s should be driven, passionate, and be able to coach, motivate, lead, and support a group of young people.

Bristol City Robins Foundation are running one local NCS programme this October (2020). You will need to be available for the full 2 weeks (excluding the weekend).
Start Date: 12th October 2020
Finish Date: 23rd October 2020
Format:
The two week NCS programme is delivered in the following format:
Week one: Activity/skills week – Monday to Friday – Different locations around Bristol.
Week two: Social Action Project – Monday to Friday (30 hours) – location dependent on community project but will be based in Bristol
Graduation: TBC – celebration event – on the Friday of week 2.
Successful applicants would be required to attend all the above as well as induction evening and training sessions.
Salary:
£9.50 per hour (hours may change depending on activity but are roughly 30 per week - 9am-4pm)
