Job Vacancy: NCS Recruitment Lead

We have an exciting opportunity to join Bristol City Robins Foundation as our NCS Recruitment Lead.

Bristol City Robins Foundation is a registered charity, which strives to make a positive difference for all through sport and learning. We recognise the positive impact we have on the community, but are continually looking to develop and expand our reach.

We require a full time NCS Assistant Co-Ordinator to deliver the programme

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and delivery of school/college recruitment activities and events in our allocated schools (Roughly 20)
  • Liaise with local school/colleges and local organisations to embed NCS and promote sign ups
  • Manage alternative engagement channels and events through community links
  • Manage ongoing participant engagement (inc. RAG rating)
  • Organise and deliver keep warm activities and events to promote sign up and attendance
  • Manage NCS/Robins Foundation mobile/email/social media channels
  • Ensure all data and information is uploaded by pre-set deadlines via relevant systems including sales force.
  • Maintain stock levels of kit/materials/merchandise via NCS Toolkit
  • Embed the Programme Quality Framework into all recruitment and engagement activities
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing of staff and participants
  • To act as Wave Leader during the delivery of NCS programmes, adhering to the Wave Leader roles and responsibilities at all times when acting in this role
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager/organisation

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence persuade and listen to others effectively
  • Experience of delivering presentations to large audiences
  • Experience and/or knowledge of secondary and higher education sector or youth engagement / local authority sector
  • Ability to relate well to young people from a wide range of backgrounds, engage them in activities which support their development and relate sensitively and confidentially to the needs of young people, parents and their families
  • Experience of working to quantitative and qualitative targets
  • Excellent time management administration and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to supporting young people and the principles of equality and diversity
  • An understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in a youth work setting
  • Ability to work on independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills including written, telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
  • A clean driving licence and access to a car
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office and Google packages

WE WOULD ALSO LIKE YOU TO HAVE:

  • Experience with the NCS programme and a sound understanding of the Programme and its objectives
  • Experience of working of data inputting and working with a CRM system
  • Knowledge of adhering to GDPR
  • Experience of data inputting and working within a CRM system

WE WILL GIVE YOU:

This position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
