NCS Assistant Team Leader:
The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government funded programme which aims to bring 16-17 year olds together from different backgrounds, embarking on a journey that builds life skills for work and life whilst taking on new challenges and meeting new people. During the three or two week programmes the young people get the opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor activities as well as making a difference in their local community.
The Robins Foundation are seeking to employ a number of enthusiastic, charismatic and dedicated individuals to deliver our successful NCS programme. All of our Community programmes are aimed at strengthening self-esteem, developing personal skills, promoting healthy behaviours and lifestyles, and in doing so improve academic achievement, enhance employability and increase the feeling of self-worth and wellbeing.
Assistant Team Leader:
Assistant Team Leaders are responsible for the supporting the management of an NCS Team of 15 students. You will have a Team Leader who’s over all responsibility is management of the Team of 15 students. Assistant Team Leader’s should be driven, passionate, and be able to coach, motivate, lead, and support a group of young people.

Dates:
The Robins Foundation are running 3 NCS programmes this Summer with various working options to apply for. Please find the dates on the application form. You will need to state your availability and date preferences.
Start Date 12th July 2021 – three weeks with a week over night residential
Start Date – 26th July 2021 - three weeks with a week over night residential.
Start Date – 16th August 2021 – two weeks – local with no overnight stays
Format:
The three-week NCS programme is delivered in the following format:
Week 1: Activity Week – Monday to Friday residential – location dependent on wave
Week 2: Skills Week – Monday to Friday based in Bristol.
Week 3: Social Action Project – Monday to Friday (30 hours)– location dependent on community project but will be based in Bristol.
Graduation: TBC – celebration event
Successful applicants would be required to attend all the above as well as induction evening and training sessions.

Thursday 20th May 18.30-19.30
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June – ALL DAY
