Job vacancy: Casual Minibus Driver

Casual minibus drivers wanted by City's official charity, Bristol City Robins Foundation. Salary: £8.21 per hour.

Bristol City Robins Foundation is a registered charity, which strives to make a positive difference for all through sport and learning. The Foundation recognise the positive impact that the football club have on the community, and are continually looking to develop and expand our reach.

The Foundation are looking for casual minibus drivers to transports students who are studying on their education programmes. Bristol City Robins Foundation minibuses will be provided to the driver to use and drivers will be insured through the Foundation’s policy.

The role will involve working during school term time. We have driving available 5 days a week, Monday through to Friday. Even if you are only available to do a small amount, please still get in touch.

YOU WILL:

  • Transport post-16 students to sports activities within the Bristol area in line with Physical Education requirements
  • Ensure that the minibus is kept clean and in good condition
  • Ensure signs inside the bus are properly attached and in good condition
  • Regular visual inspection/checking of tyres, lights, oil, water, fuel
  • Ensure that any additional work required is communicated immediately to the Head of Education
  • Adhere to all Bristol City Robins Foundation policies including Health and Safety and Safeguarding
  • Ensure the Health and Safety and welfare of students whilst being transported
  • Ensure the vehicles are cleaned after each journey and sprayed down to ensue they are COVID safe

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • A clean driving license
  • A category D1 license (To drive a minibus)

Please note that this role requires flexibility, and candidates should have a D1 licence if they are to drive our minibuses.
