Jess Woolley named in latest England Under-17 squad

John Griffiths has named his 20-player England squad to compete in the UEFA Women’s Under-17s Championship finals in Lithuania next week.

The Young Lionesses have been drawn in Group B and their first match is against Poland on Wednesday, May 9th, Spain on Saturday, May 12th, followed by Italy three days later on Tuesday, May 15th.

Group A comprises Germany, Netherlands, Finland and the host nation Lithuania. The top two teams in each group will make it through to the semi-finals.

England had to come through two rounds of qualifiers to get to this stage.

Annabel Blanchard (Liverpool)

Emma Brown (Teesside RTC)
