Gareth Jennings has left his position as Bristol City’s Academy Manager to return to the Premier League with Leicester City.
Jennings left his position as head of education at Leicester 13 months ago to move to Ashton Gate, but is now returning the East Midlands.
City chief executive John Pelling said: “Gareth has resigned and is returning to Leicester. He did a good job during his time at Bristol City and we would like to thank him for that and wish him all the best in his future career."
City have already begun their search for a replacement.
City’s Academy achieved Category Two status in 2013 and currently has more than 200 players on its books aged between eight and 21. The successful applicant will be required to have a football and administrative background.
