📣 Janneh leaves Robins

Saikou Janneh has left Bristol City to join Cambridge United.

Janneh joined the Robins in 2018 and continued his development in senior football for Clevedon Town as a 17-year-old where he scored eight goals in 12 appearances.

He had loans at Torquay United in the first halves of the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons as well as Newport County at the start of the 2020/21 season before injury cut short his stay at Rodney Parade.

He became part of the City first team during the latter half of the 2020/21 season, making his debut in a 1-1 draw away to Sheffield Wednesday.

The 22-year-old made six appearances for the Robins, netting two in last season's (2021/22) Carabao Cup against Forest Green Rovers.

Everyone at City would like to thank Saikou for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
