Matty James thanked supporters for attending Tuesday's training session for Season Card holders and City Members at Ashton Gate and previewed Sunday’s Boxing Day trip to Luton (3pm).
Season Card holders, Half-Season Card holders and City Members were invited down to BS3 on Tuesday to watch the Robins be put through their paces ahead of their Boxing Day clash against Luton Town.
City midfielder James said: “We really appreciate the fans to come out on quite a cold day today and it’s nice to see them.
"Hopefully they stay safe and have a good Christmas and New Year. We enjoyed the session today and the fact that the fans could be here and we now look forward to the game on Boxing Day.
“Looking ahead to Luton we need to try and be more consistent at both ends of the pitch. I think we need to iron out little bits, because we created plenty of chances against Huddersfield but ultimately we conceded three goals.
“We go to Luton and we know it’s going to be a difficult game. We’ve got to work on the problems that we did have but we can take some positives into the game, and hopefully we can get the result.”
City hit the road on Boxing Day to take on Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Sunday, December 26th (3pm).
Following the Robins' Boxing Day travels they will return to BS3 for back-to-back home fixtures against QPR (Thursday, December 30th, 7:45pm) and Millwall (Sunday, January 2nd, 3pm).
England U20 were defeated 36-37 by Ireland courtesy of a late Sam Prendergast penalty in the the Six Nations Summer Series.
