🎥 'It's a fantastic feeling' - Weimann

Andi Weimann reflects on his hat-trick at Ashton Gate  which propelled the Robins to a 3-2 victory over Millwall after trailing at the half-time.

Weimann scored his first after just seven minutes when his quick thinking led to a great half volley from outside the box, which looped over the 'keeper to give City an early advantage.

After trailing 2-1 at the break City needed a bright second half and the home side's number 14 was on hand to provide just that as he tucked home in the 73rd minute after a delightful ball from Han-Noah Massengo

Just over 10 minutes later, the Robins' top scorer bagged his hat-trick and with it all three points to send the Ashton Gate faithful wild.

Speaking to Robins TV, Weimann said: "I'm happy to get the three goals but I think after Thursday's game the most important thing was to get a reaction, and especially at half-time to show character to comeback and win the game was brilliant.

"I thought after we scored we went a bit sloppy in possession and let them back into the game but then we turned it around.

On his hat-trick, Weimann added:  "It was a great feeling, I was a bit nervous for the third one as it took ages to come down but I was happy to see it hit the net, celebrate and then see the game out."
