Steve Cotterill insists Bradford City will be difficult opponents as his side aim to clinch promotion to the Sky Bet Championship tonight (7.45pm).
Victory at Valley Parade will return City to the second tier after a two-year absence, while a draw will also be enough if MK Dons and Swindon do likewise or worse in their fixtures.
But Cotterill, whose side are unbeaten in 12 games, says it won’t be easy.
“It will be a difficult game,” the City boss told bcfc.co.uk. “Under (manager) Phil Parkinson and (assistant manager) Steve Parkin they will be organised.
“I don’t want to make too much of the pitch. We’ll have to see how it is when we get there but they’ve got hard-working groundstaff who are probably getting stick right now. The weather doesn’t pay any attention to criticism.
“Whether [the pitch] is good, bad or indifferent, it’s the same for both sides.”
The Bantams are keen to spoil the party in West Yorkshire, with boss Parkinson saying: “They will obviously come here looking to clinch promotion and our aim is to put their celebrations off until at least the weekend.
“Credit to them, they’ve had a terrific season. The inevitable will happen and they will get over the finishing line soon.”
Bradford's play-off push has been thwarted somewhat by a recent run of three defeats in four.
The match is pay on the night for City supporters, cash payments only.
