Lee Johnson has landed the LG Performance of the Week award from the League Managers Association, following the 3-1 success at Ipswich Town.
Goals from Josh Brownhill, Famara Diédhiou and Bobby Reid secured City's first win at Portman Road since 1979.
It also extended the club's unbeaten run to 11 matches and helped Johnson pick up the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month trophy for September.
The LMA’s five-man panel, comprising chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, has determined that the LG Performance of the Week Award should go to City for win.
The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,000 competitive matches in professional football.
City boss Johnson will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LG Performance of the Week trophy in a presentation to commemorate the result.
Johnson will also be interviewed for Sky Sports' Gilette Soccer Saturday programme.
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
