Four City players have joined up with their international teammates and here’s how they are getting on.
JOE MORRELL
Joe Morrell completed 90 minutes as Ryan Giggs’ Wales opened their UEFA Nations League fixture with a 1-0 away victory to Finland, courtesy of Keiffer Moore’s close-range finish.
The squad will now return to the Welsh capital to host fellow Group H competitors Bulgaria in three days (September 6th).
CALLUM O'DOWDA
Captain Shane Duffy was on hand to head home a Republic of Ireland corner in the 90th-minute to secure them a deserved point in their opening UEFA Nations League match away to Bulgaria.
O’Dowda, who was named Man of the Match, got a 74-minute run-out in Stephen Kelly’s first game in charge before being replaced by former City loanee Callum Robinson.
Up next for the Boys in Green is a home match against Finland on Sunday (September 6th).
ÁDÁM NAGY
Dominik Szoboazlai scored the game’s only goal 10 minutes from time as Hungary got off to winning ways in their UEFA Nations League campaign against Turkey.
Nagy completed the entire match and will be in contention for the upcoming match against Russia on Sunday (September 6th), who also have three points from their opening fixture.
TOMAS KALAS
Kalas will represent Czech Republic during the upcoming international fixtures.
The defender will travel to play in Slovakia tomorrow (September 4th) in the opening game of their UEFA National League campaign, before hosting Scotland on September 7th.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
