International round-up - Bristol City Women

The final group of players are set to return to Bristol City Women this week following international duty.

Chloe Arthur and Frankie Brown will return on the back of an emphatic win, Scotland defeated Poland 3-0 last night in Paisley after a narrow 1-0 loss to Switzerland last week.

Yana Daniels and Julie Biesmans return from Belgian duty on the back of one draw and one loss. The Red Flames drew 1-1 to Portugal last week in front of a 7000-strong crowd in Belgium, a record for the national team. Yesterday evening they lost 2-1 to Italy.

Danique Kerkdijk’s Holland were undefeated over the international period, defeating Northern Ireland 7-0 in front of 30,000 spectators last week at home. Yesterday evening they defeated Republic of Ireland 3-0 away to continue their winning run.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate those involved over the international period.

Tickets for City Women’s remaining home games are here.
