International call-ups for young Robins

Four young Robins have been rewarded with international selection.

Alex Scott (picture above) has been selected for England Under-18s, while Wales have added Sam Pearson to their Under-21s, defender Harry Leeson joins the Under-18s and midfielder Zac Bell has been called up to the Under-17 squad.

Scott and Leeson could all face each other at the Leckwith Stadium in Cardiff on Monday, March 29th (12pm KO).

Sam Pearson made his City debut against QPR and has been named in the Wales Under-21 squad

The call-ups are another boost for the Bristol City FC Academy that has seen Scott and Pearson gain valuable exposure to the first team environment in training and on matchdays, with Pearson making his debut against Queens Park Rangers earlier this month, while Bell and Leeson are regulars for the Under-23s.

The quartet join a list of young Academy players who have been selected for their countries in recent years, including Lloyd Kelly, who is in the current England Under-21 squad.
