International call-ups for City nine

Lloyd Kelly and Jay Dasilva are among nine City players to have been called up for next month's international fixtures.

The versatile defenders have been named in the England U20 squad which will take on Switzerland and Holland in September.

Joe Morrell has earned the call-up to Rob Page's Wales U21s facing Liechtenstein and Portugal as part of their UEFA Euro U21 qualification campaign.

Rory Holden, also of City U23s, has been named in Northern Ireland's squad who face Spain in their UEFA Euro U21 qualification campaign.

Goalkeeper Alhaji Sesay has made the Sierra Leone shortlist for their clash with Ethiopia next week in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

And Jamie Taylor and Joe Low, of City's U17s group, will join a training camp with Wales U18 squad.

Their international duty appointments follow Bailey Wright's call up for Australia's September training camp in Turkey, and Callum O'Dowda's inclusion in the Republic of Ireland squad.

Fixtures:

  • Thursday, September 6th - England U20s v Switzerland U20s (2pm)
  • Friday, September 7th - Wales U21s v Liechtenstein U21s (6pm)
  • Sunday, September 9th - Sierra Leone v Ethiopia (2pm)
  • Monday, September 10th - England U20s v Holland U20s (6pm)
  • Tuesday, September 11th - Wales U21s v Portugal U21s (6pm)
