City will assess injuries to Frank Fielding and Nathan Baker ahead of Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg tie with Manchester City.
Both players were substituted at half-time in the goalless draw with Derby County at Pride Park after sustaining injuries in the first 45.
Goalkeeper Fielding felt pain in his groin, while defender Baker rolled his left ankle and couldn’t continue for the second period.
Speaking on BCTV after the game, Johnson said: "Frankie’s alright we think, but he's felt something in his groin so we'll have to check that out before Tuesday.
“It’s important Nathan isn’t out, so we’ll have to give him a scan. He’s a big player for us."
On the plus side, City welcomed Famara Diédhiou back on to the pitch for the first time since October in the Sky Bet Championship stalemate.
The Senegalese striker proved a handful for the Derby defence as his completed the entire second 45.
