Injured players returning to training

Lee Johnson has given an update on his list of injured stars.

The City head coach revealed in Wednesday's press conference that Max O'Leary will start in goal away to Brentford on Saturday (October 20th, 3pm).

It will be his league debut for the club, with Frank Fielding recovering from viral meningitis and Niki Mäenpää also injured after suffering a knock against Sheffield Wednesday.

Other injury updates:

  • Hakeeb Adelakun is back in training, “still finding his feet”
  • Mo Eisa is “rusty but that’s natural” after featuring for the Under-23s on Monday night
  • Tomas Kalas is back in non-contact training, expected to continue next week
  • Eros Pisano is back running
