Lee Johnson met the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Ashton Gate.
The head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with Aden Flint.
Here's what they had to say:
- Johnson says the players were given three days off after the Severnside derby defeat to relieve the result anxiety.
- The head coach is looking for a "buzz" in Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
- Having received offers for Aden Flint, Johnson felt it right to go to the Board and ask for the defender to be rewarded with a new deal after his fantastic development on and off the pitch.
- The head coach confirms some players are playing with niggles, with two or three playing 80% fit.
- Eros Pisano trained today but the postponement of Under-23s fixtures has meant he has been unable to partake in competitive action.
- Jens Hegeler and Milan Djuric trained for the first time today.
- Famara Diédhiou is available for selection on Saturday but Nathan Baker suffered a minor groin tear and will be assessed ahead of the game.
- Johnson confirmed the weather hasn't affected the pitch at Ashton Gate but the surrounding areas will always be the concern.
- Defender pleased with his new deal on the back of his performances this season.
- Focused on "one big push" now for the final 12 games of the campaign.
- Flint describes the season as a "roller coaster ride" so far.
- "I've always enjoyed my time here," adds Flint. "I've not looked back since my first season and the fans have always got behind me."
- Defender continues: "As a while I've improved as a player at Bristol City...but I'm not going to take my foot off the gas now."
- Flint aware of Sheffield Wednesday's injuries but says City have suffered similar.
- "We need to enjoy our football again and play to our true identity," he adds.
Despite being reduced to 12 men in the closing stages of the match, England U20 held on to beat France 29-20 in round two of the Six Nations Summer Series.
