In brief: Pre-Sheffield United home press conference

Lee Johnson met the media ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet Championship season finale.

City's head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with Aden Flint.

Here's what they had to say:


- Nathan Baker is ruled out of Sunday's game after being knocked out against Nottingham Forest.

- Johnson reports "five or six" injuries in the camp.

- Head coach says there could be an opportunity for young players to be involved.

- Boss hoping to end the season on a high and secure the club's highest-league finish for ten years.

- Johnson keeping his fingers crossed for Bobby Reid as he goes for the Golden Boot in the Sky Bet Championship.

- Boss pleased with the success of the "underbelly", with Zak Vyner receiving awards at Plymouth Argyle and Jonny Smith reaching the play-offs with AFC Fylde.

- Johnson speaks of his "admiration" for opponents for Sheffield United.


- Flint determined to end the campaign on a high.

- Defender says players and “frustrated and disappointed” not to have reached the play-offs.

- Flint insists there has been progress, with the cup run and a top-half finish.

- Centre-half is pleased to be able to finish the season at Ashton Gate in front of a big crowd.

- “The aim is to finish as high as possible,” Flint adds.

- Flint says Sheffield United are a good footballing team and a good attacking side.

- Defender hopes the team can put on a good show for the fans.
