The assistant head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with club captain Bailey Wright.

- Assistant head coach pleased with City's organisation and team ethic

- McAllister delighted with how well the squad has coped with the long-term injuries

- Joe Bryan rated "50/50" to face Preston after groin problem

- On Bailey Wright's return, McAllister says: "It's great to have our captain and leader back; he's in confident mood after qualifying for the World Cup"

- City coach insists the 5-0 defeat at Preston last season is "behind them" and believes the team is very different these days

- "It's our home game and with the fans behind us, we need to impose our game on them," adds McAllister

BAILEY WRIGHT

- Wright thrilled to clinch World Cup 2018 spot with Australia

- Defender says his full focus is on club football now to ensure he wins a spot in Australia's World Cup squad

- Wright thanks the club and its supporters for the backing he received after his two-match ban

- "It's done now and it gave other lads a chance in the team," he says on his suspension

- On Preston, Wright said: "That 5-0 defeat hurt me as a former Preston player but our current team is unrecognisable from the one beaten that night."

- Club captain pleased to be back at Ashton Gate after two and a half weeks away

- He adds: "Preston have had a lot of injuries, but so have we as well."
