In brief: Pre-Leeds United press conference

Lee Johnson met the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship encounter with Leeds United.

The City head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with midfielder Josh Brownhill.

Here's what they had to say:

LEE JOHNSON

- Korey Smith's hamstring injury is an "impingement" rather than a tear

- Milan Djuric close to a return and will feature for City Under-23s on Friday

- Matty Taylor available again after ankle injury

- Eros Pisano back in non-contact training and closing in on a return

- Johnson says City had a perfectly good goal ruled out against Burton last Friday

- City boss anticipates Saturday's game to be "completely different" to the Burton clash

- Johnson says Leeds have threats all over the pitch

- Luke Ayling will receive a warm reception, predicts Johnson, who admits criticism of City's decision to let the defender go is "fair"

JOSH BROWNHILL

- "We're delighted with our unbeaten run and the form we've been in", says Brownhill

- Midfielder says the club is in a good place right now

- Brownhill pleased with the competition for places in midfield and says the rotation keeps everyone fresh

- Of Leeds, Brownhill says they are strong across the entire squad

- Midfielder is looking forward to seeing a packed Ashton Gate this weekend
