In brief: Pre-Hull City press conference

Dean Holden met the media ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash at Hull City.

The assistant head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with Swedish winger Niclas Eliasson.

Here's what they had to say:

- Joe Bryan is struggling with a hip impact injury sustained against Preston

- Milan Djuric is currently requiring painkillers to play and was sore at half-time last night

- City will be flying to Hull on Friday afternoon to avoid a lengthy coach trip

- Holden reports the team had a lengthy debrief on the Preston defeat today and says "hopefully we got to the bottom of why we played like we did"

- City coach targets a positive response similar to the one shown after the Leeds defeat, which was followed by a stunning 4-1 win over Crystal Palace

- Holden describes Hull squad as being "full of Premier League quality players, international players"

- He insists there was no truth in the Bury managerial link

Niclas Eliasson spoke to the media today

- Eliasson says he's enjoying life in Bristol

- The winger says he is "learning every day"

- The Swedish winger says the tempo is much higher in England compared to football in his own country

- Eliasson hopes his personal performance against Preston will help his chances of starting games

- "I want to help the team and play as many games as possible," adds Eliasson

- With Sweden qualifying for the World Cup, Eliasson says "you never know" when asked about his chances of making the squad but says his focus is only on club football right now

- Asked about the forthcoming Man Utd cup tie and a potential meeting with Zlatan Ibrahimović, Eliasson says: "It would be a dream to play against him"
