Lee Johnson met the media ahead of Friday night's Sky Bet Championship clash with Aston Villa at Ashton Gate.
The City head coach answered questions from the local and national press along with midfielder Korey Smith.
Here's what they had to say:
- City one real injury concern but the head coach is keeping their identity a secret
- Matty Taylor's return at Watford was something Johnson pushed for
- Johnson says win at Watford was a great night for the club's younger players
- Boss delighted to get contracts signed by quartet of young starlets
- Johnson says he made the decision to bring Aden Flint back into the fold
- "Flinty didn't look rusty at all and his mind set was strong," adds Johnson
- Johnson says City have to play the current Villa team, not the "history of the club"
- Ashton Gate under the lights on a Friday - and live on Sky Sports - is something that excites the boss
- Johnson hasn't ruled out making one more addition to his squad before the deadline
- Smith believes City's young players will receive a huge boost from the win at Watford
- Midfielder adds: "Having trained with these young guys day in, day out, I'm not surprised to see them performing like that in the first team."
- Smith delighted to get a good run in the team, after missing the opening stages of last season
- Vice-captain adds: "It's easy to go again on Friday when you've got over 20,000 inside Ashton Gate roaring you on."
