🎥 'I'm looking forward to getting started' - Naismith

Kal Naismith is looking forward to linking up with the Robins ahead of the 2022/23 season.

After signing a three-year deal, the 30-year-old told Robins TV he is delighted to join Bristol City and can't wait to get started.

"It feels great to get it done and it feels brilliant to be here. It's a huge club and I'm just massively excited to be a part of it." said Naismith.

"We wanted to get it done quick so I could enjoy time off with my family and ultimately look forward and know where I'm going to be come the start of the season."

🤝 CHEMISTRY

Naismith is looking forward to joining up with a familiar face in Joe Williams after the pair spent time playing together at Wigan Athletic.

"Joe has been on to me for a while now, he wanted me to get it done. As everyone knows Joe is a great lad and an unbelievable player who will be a massive player for the club.

"I'm looking forward to being back with Joe, he's a winner and very passionate - he's the sort of player you need a club to be successful."

⏭ FUTURE

The defender believes the club has everything in place to be successful on the pitch next season.

"The club is huge and the fanbase is great, they get right behind the club," he continued, "the players at the club are great and we have got one of the best, if not the best, manager in the league who's done absolutely everything in the game.

"There is everything here for this club to be successful on the pitch and ultimately it's up to the players and everyone to give everything every day and always try to get better day-in-day-out. I believe if we do that it will stand us in good stead."
