Max O'Leary enjoyed a marvellous display as City beat Brentford 1-0 on his league debut for the club.
The young keeper, a graduate of the City Academy, pulled off a number of saves to keep the Robins in the encounter at Griffin Park, notably tipping an Ollie Watkins' effort on to the post.
It was an open game between two sides close in the league, but Niclas Eliasson produced a late goal - his first of the season - to secure the points.
"I couldn’t have asked for more, really. A clean sheet for us as a defensive unit is what we play to do and we won at the end, which is even better," O'Leary told bcfc.co.uk.
"It was a frantic opening 15 minutes or so but that’s how it was going to be considering how both teams play; there were going to be opportunities for both sides but luckily we took ours at the end."
He added: "I’ve had lots of messages from Academy staff and it’s great to be playing with people I have come up with since the age of 12 or 13. There are plenty more waiting to get their opportunity too but it’s brilliant to be able to have those guys beside you."
