Hunt settled in BS3

Jack Hunt is focused and looking ahead to taking on his former club Sheffield Wednesday when the sides meet on Easter Monday (April 22nd, 3pm KO).

After three seasons with the Owls, the right-back heads back to Hillsborough aiming to help City push for a big finish.

He’s now accustomed to life in Bristol, as are his family, which has had a big impact on his confidence on the pitch.

“I’m really looking forward to playing Sheffield Wednesday,” Hunt said. “I had three fantastic years there, there are lots of great people at the club but I’m going back there fully focused on the job at hand and getting the three points.

“I’m really enjoying my time in Bristol, I think I was a bit stop-start at the beginning of the season it terms of personal performance bit now I feel a lot more settled and my family are very settled and it’s brilliant because when your home life is good, that helps you fully focus on your task at work.”

The trip back to Yorkshire sparks the first of four final matches in this season’s Sky Bet Championship for Hunt and his teammates.

“When there’s ten-15 games left you don’t really need to keep an eye on the table, you can just focus on the games,” he said adding “but at this stage you have to perform on the pitch and it is on our hands.”

Fans are reminded that it is pay on the day at Hillsborough on Monday.
