City came from behind to secure a well-deserved point at Birmingham City in the club's first away game of the 2019/20 campaign.
Benik Afobe was twice denied by Lee Camp in the Blues goal, who denied fellow new arrival Ádám Nagy as the hosts kept the Robins at bay.
Lukas Jutkiewicz headed the hosts in front in the second half and with seven minutes remaining, Kasey Palmer fed the advancing Tommy Rowe who smashed the ball into the corner of the goal, in front of the travelling City supporters at St Andrew’s.
City return to league action at Ashton Gate on Saturday when they host QPR (August 17th, 3pm).
