Hegler Returns For Preston Trip

Jens Hegeler returns to the starting line-up in Lee Johnson’s only change for tonight’s trip to play-off chasing Preston North End (7.45pm).

 

The German midfielder replaces Gary O’Neil, who was unable to recover from the hamstring problem that forced him off at Brentford on Saturday.

Bailey Wright starts against his former club with Josh Brownhill on the bench, while the hosts include ex-City duo Greg Cunningham and Callum Robinson in their starting XI.

Preston North End: Maxwell, Baptiste, Clarke, Huntington, Cunningham, Pearson, McGeady, Gallagher, Robinson, Hugill, Barkhuizen. Subs: Lindegaard, Horgan, Boyle, Browne, Johnson, Makienok, Beckford.
